The IDF identified 165 Hezbollah rocket launches targeting Israel, falling near UNIFIL posts in southern Lebanon. The military continues operations against Hezbollah in the region.
The IDF identified approximately 165 Hezbollah rocket launches that landed at or near positions belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the military reported on Sunday.
The rockets were launched towards Israel from positions in southern Lebanon.
However, the approximately 165 rockets launched by the terror group fell short of reaching the Israel-Lebanon border, landing within or adjacent to the UNIFIL posts within southern Lebanon.
In order to display this, the military published an infographic highlighting some of the rocket launch locations and trajectories before hitting near UNIFIL positions.
Hezbollah has launched rockets towards Israel, particularly the North, since the IDF launched Operation Roaring Lion, targeting the Islamic regime in Iran.
IDF continues to strike Hezbollah terror positions across Lebanon
The IDF has also conducted repeated strikes on Hezbollah terror positions in Beirut, southern Lebanon, and other parts of the country.
Additionally, several IDF Divisions have entered southern Lebanon to carry out counterterrorism operations since Operation Roaring Lion began.
